Greetings to all from the Sivananda Organization Headquarters.
By the grace of Master and Swamiji we had a very successful season at the Yoga Camp in Val Morin, with both the Camp and Temple being very busy with students and devotees. The rest of the Organization was very successful in offering new programs and welcoming many new guests to Centres and Ashrams.
We are glad to inform you the newest Ashram of the Organization, in Gudur, Andhra Pradesh, India is going to be inaugurated on Master’s birthday, September 8th. Less than a month from the inaugural opening, the first Yoga Vacation program is scheduled to start on October 1st, 2017.
We are glad that Swamiji’s teachings continue to grow and more spiritual homes and opening around the world.

From Discourse III: “Vibhuti Pada- On Divine Powers”
III.18. SAMSKARA-SAKSATHKARANAT PURVA-JATIJNANAM
‘By perceiving “samskaras”(subtle impressions) comes knowledge of the previous birth’.
Commentary:
When ‘samyama’ is performed on the ‘samskaras’, or habitual impressions of one’s mind, knowledge of past births comes. This is because of the Karma that must be worked out in this life depends on the impressions carried over from past lives that were not dealt with at the time.
Use your mind as a filter. Watch. Do not allow any useless thought to enter the mind. Filter all useless thoughts. – Sri Swami Sivananda
